Leaders in Memory Care

Our focus on those living with cognitive challenges due to Alzheimer’s disease or other progressive dementias is to ensure the highest level of dignity, compassion, and well-being. We provide excellence through education to our dementia care staff, which includes training in:

  • Dementia Beyond Drugs as established by Dr. Al Power and the Eden Alternative
  • Dementia Capable Care developed by Kim Warchol, OTR/L, and the Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Virtual Dementia Tour by Second Wind Dreams, developed by P.K. Beville

We incorporate guidelines as developed by the Alzhemier’s Association and are recognized leaders in Dementia Care. Vivage’s dementia training goal for our team members is to create a deep understanding of dementia to provide the most compassionate care for the individuals we serve.
