Short and Long-Term Care Options

The Orion Program offered at various Vivage communities is dedicated to serving individuals who have been impacted by Multiple Sclerosis (MS). This program is named after the most important constellations, as it contains one of the nearest and most active stellar nurseries. Orion nebula is one of the most studied objects in the night sky and has been known to mean “rising in the sky.”

We work closely with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and focus on providing a program that features:

  • Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care
  • Therapy Services: Physical, Occupational, Speech & Respiratory Therapy
  • Outpatient Therapy
  • Nursing Care & Interventions
  • Specialty-Trained Staff

Recreation skills programming includes:

  • Voice Coach
  • Music Therapist
  • Art Therapist
  • Sensory Stimulation (Bluelight Therapy, Touch Therapy, Massage Therapy, Aromatherapy, Guided Imagery)
  • Chair Tai Chi
  • Exercise Program

Vivage is dedicated to providing person-centered care through innovative services for all ages and needs. Our team specializes in neurorehabilitation with an emphasis on those living with MS, maximizing the quality of life for residents from age 30 to 90. Whether an individual comes for short-term rehabilitation or has decided to call a Vivage community home, we care for the whole person – mind, body, and spirit.

Special program considerations for meeting the needs of our MS-challenged residents include:

  • Air Conditioning in MS-Designated Rooms

  • Handicap Accessible Transportation That Can Accommodate Multiple Power Wheelchairs for Outings and Community Connection
  • A Support Group Which Offers Opportunity for Both Education and Peer Support to Enhance Socialization

Community spaces available, including:

  • Galaxy Room with Air Conditioning for Programming and Socialization
  • A “Celebrity Cafe” with Original Artwork, Bistro Tables, and an Automatic Coffee Machine to Provide a Space for Socialization with Friends and Family Members
