Summit Rehabilitation and Care Community is a skilled nursing community that serves the Aurora area for post-hospitalization rehabilitation programs with transitional care suites. We also specialize in caring for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, as well as those needing long-term skilled nursing care services.

The City of Aurora
Just outside of Denver, Colorado, the city of Aurora has a lot to offer the people of the community. This city has an abundance of parks, trails, and other outdoor adventures. For instance, the Aurora Reservoir is one of the largest parks in the city and offers activities ranging from boating and fishing (on over 800 acres of water) to archery.
In addition, the Aurora Center for Active Adults offers many activities, programs, and services for active adults over age 50. Massage services, jewelry making classes, and educational classes are only a few options that this center has to offer.
The Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, less than two miles from Summit Rehab, provides an opportunity for everyone to unlock their dreams of flight. Transferred from the United States Air Force to a group of volunteers in 1994, the museum is located in Hangar #1 of the former Lowry Air Force Base. No visit to the area is complete without a trip to view the iconic aircraft, space vehicles, artifacts, military uniforms, and much more.
