Rehabilitation and Wellness
Physical Therapy
Our personalized physical therapy supports residents to gain or regain maximum mobility. Physical therapists use their expertise to work with residents toward recovery or preventatively to help decrease the risk of an injury occurring or recurring. At North Shore Health and Rehabilitation, our therapy sessions allow residents to focus on improving their physical health and create a smoother transition back home.
Occupational Therapy
North Shore Health and Rehabilitation offers occupational therapy to support residents with daily activities to help them maintain their independence. Therapists work with residents in their environment, making adjustments as needed, thereby ensuring personal goals are achieved.
Speech and Language Therapy
For those who have suffered a stroke, brain injury, or another health issue that has affected their communication ability and/or swallow functionality, North Shore Health and Rehabilitation offers the services of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). SLPs assess communication and swallowing difficulties and provide skilled interventions that help improve cognition, speech production, fluency, language, voice, resonance, hearing, and all aspects of swallowing.
Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory Therapy specializes in providing healthcare for your lungs and can benefit those with asthma, pneumonia, emphysema, COPD, lung disease, and other related medical conditions.
