Physical Therapy
Our rehabilitation therapy is recovery-focused at University Heights Rehab and Care Community to create a smooth transition home. Our personalized physical therapy supports residents as they work to gain or regain maximum mobility. Physical therapists use their expertise to work towards recovery or as a preventative measure to decrease the risk of an injury occurring or recurring.
Occupational Therapy
University Heights Rehab and Care Community offers occupational therapy to support residents with daily activities to help them maintain their independence. Therapists work with residents in their environment, making adjustments as needed to ensure personal goals are achieved.
Speech and Language Therapy
For those who have suffered a stroke, brain injury, or another health issue that has affected their communication ability and/or swallow functionality, University Heights Rehab and Care Community offers the services of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). SLPs assess communication and swallow difficulties and provide skilled interventions that help improve cognition, speech production, fluency, language, voice, resonance, hearing, and all aspects of swallowing.
Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory Therapy specializes in providing healthcare for your lungs and can benefit those with asthma, pneumonia, emphysema, COPD, lung disease, lung training, and other related medical conditions.
Skilled Nursing Care and Chronic Disease Management
Our nursing services at University Heights Rehab and Care Community work in conjunction with the medical needs of the individuals in our care. We formulate a unique plan of care catered to the specific needs of every individual that stays with us.

Respite Care
University Heights Rehab and Care Community offers respite care for recovery and caregiver support. During their stay with us, individuals receive care and support in a safe, comfortable environment that promotes well-being. Our respite care services provide caregivers with peace of mind knowing their loved one is being taken care of and receiving compassionate and individualized care.
